Ryan Reaves trade request may not have been totally truthful.

The Rangers have won five in a row and are officially back. It hasn’t always been pretty, but wins are wins and sometimes that’s all that matters. This Blueshirts needed confidence, and confidence only comes from wins. With five in a row and two games against very beatable teams, the Rangers have a chance to make a statement that they should never have been counted out.

Kevin Hayes is actually a healthy scratch for the Flyers, which is certainly a puzzling decision by John Tortorella. They do get Tony DeAngelo back to help, but Hayes is their best offensive player. The Flyers haven’t been shooting well and with Hayes out, are going to have trouble scoring. Carter Hart has been on a hot streak though, and he has the ability to steal a game.

This has trap game written all over it.
