Per Vince Mercogliano, Vitali Kravtsov is scratched again. No reason was given other than “coaches decision,” which is asinine.
Kravtsov, Carpenter and Harpur are the guys doing the extra skating after. Those will be the scratches.
I asked Gallant why no Kravtsov on the second line anymore and he didn’t want to go into detail: “Coach’s decision.” #NYR

To have Kravtsov scratched again, after the Rangers mounted a come back, in which Kravtsov looked fine, is silly. He looked good since his return to the lineup, at least no worse than any other player Gallant is going to plug into the lineup.
Perhaps I missed something though.
