Seattle wins in Blue Seat Bookie's picks for December 3, 2022

Welcome to yet another edition of Blue Seat Bookie! I hope you’ve been enjoying some of the wins that have been predicted on this blog the past couple of articles. Here are 3 more that look extremely promising on what should be a really good Saturday in the NHL.

Define the Great Money Line: Record 2-3

Seattle Kraken defeat the Florida Panthers +100

The Seattle Kraken have become a fun team to not only gamble on, but watch as a product. They couldn’t score last season, and they took the long game approach and have a super star in the making in Matty Beniers absolutely terrorizing goalies. He is making a name for not only himself, but for the entire city of Seattle. He is going to be synonymous with that team and city for years to come like so many great number 1 centers are.

Now in the context of this game, the Kraken are coming in having won 7 in a row thanks in large part to the production of one Matty Beniers. I look for the Kraken’s luck to continue against an extremely mediocre Panthers squad that has been rather disappointing this season after winning the president’s trophy last year. Should be a nice scoring game. I look for a 4-3 or a 5-3 type score that Seattle wins.

Pull up the Covers: Record 3-2

New Jersey Devils Cover the Philadelphia Flyers -1.5 +115

This of course isn’t the first time the Devils have been on this particular prop, but I foolishly bet against them before. This time, I don’t think there’s even a question that they hit this time around. The Philadelphia Flyers have cratered in nearly every facet. They cannot score, they can barely defend, and Carter Hart has come back down to the earth in a mighty way.

The Devils being the Devils this season, they are scoring and they are scoring in bunches. I think this game ends up being 5-2 or 4-1. It’s been both that kind of season for the Devils defeating teams by multiple goals, and on the flip side that kind of season for the Flyers where they just don’t have an answer for teams.

Overs orĀ Unders: Record 3-2

Vegas Golden Knights / Detroit Red Wings Over 6.5 +100

While the Golden Knights find themselves in this prop a hell of a lot, why change what has been mostly successful? They are a team that when they get rolling have been putting up 3-4 goals a game against opponents. I suspect against a pretty decent Red Wings team for that to continue as they have so much talent up front.

However, the Red Wings are no passengers in any games this season. They are getting some timely goals themselves as a team and have been able to put the puck in the net in greater volume this season with their offseason additions, and the natural growth of their younger players. This matchup will be a fun one and I could see it being 5-4 easily.
