The Rangers played a very solid game in Ottawa on Wednesday, and now look to sweep the home and home against the Senators tonight at MSG. The one line change for the Rangers is Vitali Kravtsov up to the second line with Artemiy Panarin and Filip Chytil, with Kaapo Kakko going to the third line with Vincent Trocheck and Alexis Lafreniere.
Ottawa is still sneaky good offensively, with a strong top six and supporting blue line that can move the puck quickly. They lack the depth to truly skate with the Rangers, at least when the Rangers want to skate.
But that’s everything, isn’t it? The Rangers have been picking and choosing when they want to play. It’s December. Time to show up every night and build a winning streak.
