The Rangers laid an egg in Nashville, but they have little time to dwell. One flight later, they have another game tonight against what should be a bottom feeder team in Arizona. That said, Arizona is winning more games than we expected to start the season, which is good for them, but bad for a Rangers team that plays down to their opponents and can’t seem to score consistently. There is clearly something off with this team.

The Coyotes are also on a back to back, which at least levels the playing field a bit, even if the Rangers also traveled back to MSG. There’s really no reason why the Rangers should lose this game. They need to stop the bleeding. This is a soft landing spot.
