Sam Alfano (Peterborough – OHL), Maxim Barbashev (Moncton – QMJHL), Jayden Grubbe (Red Deer – WHL), and Bryce McConnell-Barker (Soo – OHL) are all returning to their CHL teams. Of this quartet, Alfano was an undrafted non-roster invitee, Grubbe was a 2021 draft selection, and Barbashev and McConnell-Barker were 2022 draft selections.
It’s expected the Rangers will make more cuts to the CHL and the respective Euros at some point this week.
