Ryan Strome Game 4

Per Vince Mercogliano, Ryan Strome is expected to play in Game 4.

Strome was injured after getting a cross check in the back during Game 3. The injury was….weird? It was nothing more than a tap, and Strome couldn’t put weight on his right leg after. Maybe just a stinger, or it hit a nerve? Seemed like an odd injury.

Strome’s absence was felt at even strength, where the Rangers moved Barclay Goodrow up to the second line, and on the powerplay, which did not convert once Strome was hurt. Part of that is playing with 11 forwards, but it was also a top six player that got hurt.

Hopefully Gerard Gallant isn’t being coy with Strome, and he is actually expected to suit up in Game 4.
