Igor Shesterkin is a Vezina Trophy Finalist, to the surprise of absolutely no one. Shesterkin led the NHL in all major goaltending categories, and some non-major ones like strongest back for carrying his team through the regular season.

It is expected that Shesterkin will win the Vezina in a landslide, perhaps even unanimously. Jacob Markstrom (Calgary) and Juuse Saros (Nashville) are the other two finalists. It is a little surprising that Frederik Andersen (Carolina) isn’t a finalist, but my guess is numbers 2-4 are all one in the same, and it’s Shesterkin’s trophy this year.
