The first ever Rod Gilbert Mr. Ranger Award, which recognizes the Ranger that best honors Gilbert’s legacy with leadership both on and off the ice, and humanitarianism in the community, was awarded to Chris Kreider.
Kreider did a clean sweep for the Rangers, winning this, the Steven McDonald Award, and was the Rangers Masterton nominee. Well deserved.
