Kakko’s leg injury isn’t as bad as it looked, which is a great bit of luck. He likely won’t play for the rest of the season, which is two weeks and six games. Barclay Goodrow will be back on the third line, with Ryan Reaves slotting into the fourth line.
What a rough season it’s been for Kakko. He’s had two unlucky injuries just as he started to show he was taking the next step in his development. Let’s hope next season is his breakout year.
