The Rangers host the Flyers for the first time since smacking them around by a score of 375-0, when Mika Zibanejad scored five goals. But that seems like a decade ago, even if it was just yesterday. This is basically the same Flyers team with the same coach that relies on goaltending to cover up defensive mistakes. The Flyers are bottom-ten in basically every statistical category, and are not a good team.

That said, Carter Hart is capable of stealing wins. He’s a good goalie, he’s just getting help from no one. The Rangers have been rolling lately, and hopefully they don’t fall for this trap game. The Flyers shouldn’t be a trap game, ever, yet here we are. Beating the bad teams is more a mental state than talent anyway, and these Rangers appear to be in a better mental state.
