One of the nicer traditions the NHL has is their Black Friday one, where most of the league has a game (26 of 32 teams). Kicking off the action for the last few years has been Rangers/Bruins at 1pm. That’s been the game, and while the Rangers never actually look good, it’s a nice tradition. One of the few good things the NHL has done right under Gary Bettman’s rule.

The Bruins, while not good in the standings, are still a dangerous team. Their top line is still extremely dangerous, and they have some serious skill. This is a team that will still likely find their way into the playoffs, and can still make some noise. That said, their goaltending is still a serious question mark, and can be exploited by the Rangers. Especially on the power play.
