Rempe, the Rangers 6th round pick in 2020, is having a decent year in the WHL. He has four goals in 10 games this year, which is an improvement on his 1-4-5 line in 8 games in a COVID wrecked 2020 season.
Rempe is a big dude at 6’9″ and 240 lbs. He’s a project pick with raw skills, but needs to fine tune a lot of his game. Right now he’s just a big dude. But he is a decent skater for his size.
Matt Rempe is not a kid you’re going to see in the NHL immediately. He will finish out his WHL season this year, and then likely be in the AHL next season.
