Becky, Rob and Dave break down the contract (spoiler alert: it’s all good news) and discuss how the contract fits into the bigger picture for the Rangers as they look to build a Stanley Cup contender. Also, the gang attempts to figure out why the Rangers have been so inconsistent to start the season, despite their 6-2-1 record.
Lastly, the discussion turns to a much more serious subject: how the Chicago Blackhawks and the NHL failed Kyle Beach in 2010, and how they’ve continued to let him down. The response from Commissioner Gary Bettman in particular has been unacceptable.
