Rangers place Ryan Reaves on IR

The NY Rangers have placed Ryan Reaves on IR. This comes after Reaves left Monday’s game against Calgary with an apparent leg injury.

Reaves injured the same leg in the preseason following a gruesome looking leg injury. There is still debate whether or not that was a slew foot. At full speed it didn’t look like one, but P.K. Subban does have a bit of a history there.

With Ryan Reaves on IR and no recall imminent (at least not yet), it looks like Kaapo Kakko will get back into the lineup tomorrow night. Julien Gauthier will stay in the lineup for the time being.
