It looks like Ryan Reaves dodged a bullet, as his injury isn’t perceived to be serious. Reaves may not be in the opening night lineup, but it doesn’t look like IR or LTIR are going to be needed.
Based on what I’m hearing, the #NYR sound relieved about the results from yesterday’s MRI on Ryan Reaves’ leg. Status for opening night remains TBD, but it seems he avoided anything that would keep him out for an extended time.

If Reaves is ready to go, expect him in the opening night lineup and going after Tom Wilson. If he isn’t, then expect Julien Gauthier to get the 4RW duties (assuming Chris Kreider is the 1RW, but that’s a whole other topic).
