The Rangers have made a pair of trades in before the expansion draft roster freeze. They’ve acquired Barclay Goodrow from Tampa for a 7th round pick. They’ve also sent Brett Howden to Vegas for a 4th round pick and defenseman Nick DeSimone.
This addresses a lot of needs for the Rangers, specifically toughness and center depth.
