Reviewing the fallout of the Pavel Buchnevich trade

The Rangers close out their wacky season against the Bruins this afternoon. This is the definition of a meaningless game for the Rangers. I don’t think I was the only one who was barely engaged in Thursday’s game, and this one is no different. The Bruins got up early on Thursday and basically just held the puck the rest of the game. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the plan today.

Today is the end of the Jeff Gorton era in New York. He may have been fired earlier this week, but after this game, Chris Drury gets the full reins to make his changes. Let’s see how this plays out.
