The Rangers and Isles finish their season matchups tonight, and this one is a little meaningless. The Isles are in, and the Rangers are out. For the Rangers, they are dressing seven rookies in the lineup tonight. This includes Morgan Barron’s debut and Tarmo Reunanen’s second game. Plus Zac Jones’ sixth game.
The Rangers are without Chris Kreider, Jacob Trouba, and Ryan Lindgren tonight. Those are three top players. Don’t expect much from them against a well coached Isles team. It’s a little rough to say, but this isn’t one of those games where I have high hopes. On the bright side, whenever I think that, the Rangers surprise me. Let’s hope they do that again this time.
