rangers islanders kevin hayes

The Rangers are back in action tonight in a true must win against the Isles. The Bruins won’t lose, and the Isles are in a tailspin, so to make the playoffs, the Rangers need to catch the Isles. These two games are must wins, and that’s all there is to it. Even with two wins, the Rangers need help. It’s doable, but it begins with a win tonight.

Jacob Trouba is still out, and Chris Kreider may be out as well. That certainly won’t help them score against a very defensively sound Isles team. Luckily they are having trouble scoring themselves, so it might put things up for grabs. Every mistake will matter tonight. A loss and it’s over.
