Rangers trade Georgiev to Colorado

After barely escaping on Thursday, the Rangers are back at it tonight against the Buffalo Sabres. Thursday’s game was much closer than it should have been, with the Rangers dominating, but barely escaping with two points. A dominating performance, much like Thursday, is needed again, and hopefully Linus Ullmark won’t play like 2014 Dustin Tokarski.

Ice time was a touchy subject after that win, with the “kid line” barely playing at all after the first period. It was not a good look for a “development coach,” as the lines between contending and developing are starting to blur. Suffice it to say, ice time will be a major topic during in-game discussions here and on social media.

That and Vitali Kravtsov, of course.
