The Rangers no showed for 40 minutes over the weekend before making it interesting, but still came away empty handed. Now with a need to go roughly 18-4 to close out the season to stay relevant in the playoff race, it’s now or never. The Blueshirts need to start a winning streak tonight, and it needs to be a lengthy one at that.
Vitali Kravtsov will not be in the lineup tonight, which is a little surprising. This was the day folks pegged for the kid, but perhaps the Rangers want to wait until an easier opponent? Buffalo is next up for two in a row, so perhaps that’s what they are waiting for. It worked for Derek Stepan and Mackenzie Skapski.
