The Rangers and Flyers are back at it tonight, likely with the 9-0 shellacking fresh on both teams minds. This won’t be another game like that, and you can bet the Flyers will want some sort of redemption. This is still an AV coached team that is very skilled up front, they can score. Defense and goaltending have been the issue. Get the jump on them early, ride out their inevitable early game push, and get that first goal. Who knows what can happen if the Rangers can get up by one or two early.
Igor Shesterkin returns for the Rangers tonight, making the roster almost completely healthy. Shesterkin missed a few weeks with a groin injury that looked much more serious when it first occurred. Groins are tricky though, so let’s hope the Rangers didn’t rush him back, or that Shesterkin didn’t rush himself back.
