NY Rangers trade Vitali Kravtsov to Vancouver for nothing.

Vitali Kravtsov has officially cleared COVID-19 protocol and is at Rangers practice today.

This is an off day, so it’s just the extras skating, but getting Kravtsov moving is a big step. He is coming off a great KHL season and is likely slated to get top-nine time as soon as he joins the Rangers. If Kaapo Kakko sticks with Ryan Strome and Artemi Panarin, then Kravtsov will be with Alexis Lafreniere and Filip Chytil.

Projecting his first game is a little tough. The Rangers play on the 25th, 27th, and 28th, all on the road, before coming back home on the 30th. The smart money is on Kravtsov making his debut on home ice on the 30th, giving him a full week of practices and morning skates to get his legs back under him.
