Phil Di Giuseppe is in COVID protocol, the latest Ranger to be held out for that reason. Due to this, the Rangers cancelled the morning skate today. This is a rare occurrence, as the Rangers play tonight against the Flyers.

It doesn’t look like the game is going to get postponed, but it wouldn’t surprise me either if it does happen. Di Giuseppe’s inclusion in COVID protocol does help make the lineup decisions a little easier to predict.
It is worth noting that being held out for COVID protocol doesn’t necessarily mean Phil Di Giuseppe tested positive for COVID.
