Some good news on the Jacob Trouba injury, as the Rangers continue their quest to get fully healthy. Trouba is traveling with the Rangers, and is expected to return on this road trip. That return is not expected to be tonight, but perhaps in Pittsburgh or in Boston.
Just to be clear, that doesn't necessarily mean Trouba will play tomorrow. DQ meant at some point in the next four games. #NYR https://t.co/mkV5qhdCai

This puts Trouba at the earlier end of his expected 4-6 week timeline. That’s great news for the Rangers, who have been managing with both Jack Johnson and Libor Hajek getting fairly significant minutes. Kudos to that pair, who have done the best to their abilities.
Trouba’s return from injury means the blue line will be fully healthy. That gets them one step closer to dressing a full lineup since Filip Chytil’s injury in January. It’s been that long since the Rangers have dressed a full lineup. The Rangers have had a drama filled season, but have had nothing but good news on the injury front lately, including this Jacob Trouba return.
