The Rangers get the Devils again today in another matinee. The Rangers may have given the Devils a shellacking on the scoreboard on Thursday, but anyone watching that game saw the Devils controlled the game. It was bad goaltending that did the Devils in. It was also good goaltending that saved the Rangers until the goals started piling up.

Kaapo Kakko is back, taking Colin Blackwell’s spot in the lineup. That decision is a little perplexing, as Blackwell has done nothing wrong to deserve a benching. There are certainly others that have not been as good as Blackwell, and others that have been straight up bad. Let’s see if the decision pays off.

Phil Di Giuseppe is the healthy scratch. Thanks for making all my posts this morning outdated, DQ.
