What an interesting situation for both the Rangers and Devils tonight. The Rangers are without half their lineup. They have mostly kids playing up front and AHLers on defense. The Devils haven’t played or even practiced in a week due to COVID protocol. This could be a track meet. Or it could be the most boring game to ever watch. In all fairness, I don’t think there will be an in between.

David Quinn shuffled the lines a bit in hopes of having more scoring balance while dealing with the injuries. Colin Blackwell jumps to the top line, while Pavel Buchnevich, arguably the best Rangers skater this season thus far, is moved to the third line to help jump start that trio. Brendan Smith is back, replacing K’Andre Miller, who is also hurt.
