Rangers prospect development is a problem

The Rangers finally snapped their losing streak on Thursday night with a strong OT win in Buffalo. They now return home to face the Penguins, who swept them in Pittsburgh last week. It is worth noting that the Rangers played very well in those games. They were a shootout and a few mental mistakes away from four points. But that’s hockey.

This time, the Rangers are without Filip Chytil. But they are also without Jack Johnson, so I guess that’s a wash? If the Rangers play the way they did in Pittsburgh, the results will come. But they need that consistency.
