  • I’m still staying with 6. This is a BIG developmental year. To me, its all still up in the air as to whether this is going in the right direction. Lots of highly rated talent in the org., but none of it really tested yet. Including the coach. I think we’ll have a good idea about where this is headed in the coming months.

    • I would suggest that it’s definitely going in the right direction (8 or 9), but whether that direction will be fully realized is the issue — and it’s always the issue since teams don’t win on paper, they win on the ice.

  • I would say at least an 8 so far, still early but the kids don’t look out of place and in half our games this season our D looked good, when is the last time we could say that?

  • I went back to an “8.”

Jack Johnson is playing big minutes and Howden may be on the PP.

    • I know you really don’t like Howden, but he looked pretty good last night — as long as he doesn’t become the new Jesper Fast for DQ (i.e. playing above his weight), he’s fine.

      • Howden has looked better. But he should not be playing center. Put him on the wing and play Rooney (when healthy) or Blackwell, at center.
