NY Rangers Game 2 Open Thread: Being better shouldn’t be hard
The Rangers and Isles are back at it again tonight to finish off their duet of games to start the season. The Islanders destroyed a very sloppy Rangers team on Thursday, and you’d have to assume the Rangers won’t be that bad again tonight. Of course, you know what happens when you assume.
The lines were thrown in a blender again, and Tony DeAngelo finds himself as a healthy scratch. He took a terrible and undisciplined penalty and was just downright atrocious. Yet Jack Johnson, who was far worse on the ice, got a promotion to the second pair. These things need to play out, apparently.

… and that’s the friggin’ problem with this coaching staff. If it continues too much longer I’ll be jumping on the fire DQ bandwagon, but for now I’ll just keep on saying “it’s just 1 game, it’s just 1 game …”.
I was on that same wagon with you regarding Quinn thinking he’s gliding a coaches job. But after two years of the same nonsense with treatment of players and mindset. But game of of the new year he lost his mind Tanto. Time to refresh behind the bench.
