Today is a glorious day. NY Rangers hockey is back, and we open right with a rivalry. It’ll be a pair of games against the Isles to kick off the season. Rob wrote a great breakdown of the Isles and how they compare to the Rangers this season, so go check that out.
This game will be about the top end skill of the Rangers and the defense-first grinding style of the Isles. If it’s a track meet, the Rangers have the better skill. If it’s a slog fest, the Isles have the better depth.
