  • This may be a revealing year for coach Quinn. It’s going to be a shortened, compressed season and we saw how that played out in the playoffs against Carolina in the playoffs. David is going to have to, somehow, get these guys to play as well as they can. It’s going to be a challenge.

  • With the new divisional re-alignments this will be a different kind of year. Playing each team within our division eight times will certainly build rivalries, will make for EXCITING hockey. And that is great for our game.
I hope we never go back to a balanced schedule.

    • Yes the rivalries are great. I’d love to see them play the Islanders, Devils and Flyers a lot more. So I have never liked balanced schedules. Yeah, I’d like to see Conner McDavid play too, but I guess I have the full NHL team streaming if I want to watch him more!

  • I give an 8 for this season.
Did not upgrade the LD,or 4th line.. but props for signings they made for the future and salary cap.

A 9 going forward, for expansion draft player exposures, etc
Management has a good feel what’s needed to deliver a sustainable product on the ice etc.

  • The division is unquestionably tougher, but the route to success isn’t always easy. They have to learn to beat the best teams to become one of them, so LGR!

  • I actually voted a “10” today because it’s been such a depressing year that I wanted to be as positive as possible, even if I don’t 100% believe it.
