It’s a little tough to read in the tweet, but the Rangers play 56 games, as expected. They will play the Islanders on January 14 to kick the season off with a pair of games at MSG.
For the most part, the Rangers play each team two games in a row before moving on to the next. There are some one-offs, and there are also very few back-to-backs. The Rangers also play the Devils four times in a row close to the end of the season. Keep an eye on that if the Rangers surprise us and are in the playoffs.
The NY Rangers 2021 regular season schedule ends on May 8th against Boston. That’s 56 games in four months, which is about normal.
