• The NHL and NHLPA agreed on a plan to start the 2021 NHL season. Training camp will begin on January 3, with the season starting on January 13. There will be no preseason games.
• The other key dates and details for the 2021 NHL season have been detailed.
• The IIHF canceled 6 exhibition games for the 2021 World Juniors. This is something to keep an eye on.
• Tarmo Reunanen has been recalled from Finnish loan, and will attend NY Rangers camp. He is expected to compete for a LD role.
• Lauri Pajuniemi has a six game point streak in Liiga. This kid exploded onto the scene last year and has no signs of slowing down.
• Some cool news: Mackenzie Skapski (remember him?) has been hired in the BCHL as a goaltending coach by the Chilliwack Chiefs. No word on Mackenzie Catski’s role.
