- The NHL owners (note: only some owners who didn’t read the CBA they agreed upon over the summer) are shooting themselves in the foot. They are the reason why there is no NHL season start date yet.
- Alexis Lafreniere and Kaapo Kakko will not participate in the 2021 World Juniors.
- Karl Henriksson was named to Team Sweden for the World Juniors, but then was removed after testing positive for COVID-19. That all occurred within 24 hours of each other.

Given the current roster construction, farm system, management, coaching, etc., how confident are you in the Rangers' overall future?
I think I saw Hunter Skinner got added to the team USA preliminary roster as well..late in the day Sunday
At this point, I do not even have confidence that there will be a 2020-21 season
Look , they won’t win the Cup this year , but with the Players and Prospects they have in2 -3 yrs this team will be a POWERHOUSE. Enjoy the ride.
Now that we know there’s going to be a season, I’m a little more optimistic. I doubt that we make the finals, but with the young talent on the team, I’d say we’ll be contending in 2 or 3 years.
I can wait another season or so for a nice deep run. When it happens, I want to be past this Covid stuff and sitting comfortably with 19,000 fans at MSG cheering them on.
First Rangers game in 1964. Can’t remember when I have been this excited about the Rangers team …for years to come, instead of until the next overaged free agent peters out.
