Nils Lundkvist shines with assist as SHL kicks off season

Nils Lundkvis notched an assist and a whopping six shots on goal in his SHL season opener. Lundkvist was strong all game, firing away on one timers. Also starting his season was Karl Henriksson, who looked great on Frolunda’s top line with Joel Lundqvist in their shutout of Lias Andersson’s HV71. Adam Edstrom played just 2 minutes and was ejected with 25 PIMs in his opener.

Yegor Rykov finished with a +2 as his strong season continued in the KHL.
