  • Good to see the young Ruskie off to a good start. But man that was some brutal defending there in that clip. Is that the way they do it in the KHL, swing your stick as your man skates by.

  • The fact that he is playing is nothing but great news for him, and this organization. I hope he tears the KHL apart. He will come home, here in the US, with swagger. This is going to inflate this kids self esteem, and that is wonderful for all concerned!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Imagine him filling out that 6’4” frame to about 210 lbs. or so. With that smooth style and potential size that will give him some swagger.

We have one coming in this season, Morgan Barron, and he will be a player with brains to boot, from Cornell University!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, VK was serving a 2 min penalty for hooking when Lokomotive scored its first goal. He scored a PP goal in the third period to cut the score to 2-1, which was how the game ended. The penalty aside, he had a good overall game.
