The New York Rangers have signed 2018 first round draft pick K’Andre Miller to an entry level contract. Miller, who just finished his sophomore season, is one of the Bluershirts’ top prospects, and someone who, with time, could become a legitimate top pairing defenseman for the Rangers.

Miller finished up this season with a line of 7-11-18 in 36 games, actually down a little from his 5-17-22 freshman year. That said, Wisconsin was notable bad this year, so it’s tough to go based off scoring output alone.

Given the state of the left defense, Miller will likely be given every opportunity to make the big club outright next season.
