The Rangers are beginning their 2020-2021 push already. Fresh off signing Patrick Khodorenko, the Rangers are looking to bring one of their own to the pros.

K’Andre Miller, one of three first round picks by the Rangers in the 2018 draft, is looking to turn pro and the Rangers want to get him to Hartford as soon as possible. The 6’3″, 206 lb left defenseman just finished his sophomore season at Wisconsin.

It may look like Miller struggled this year, as his point totals (7-11-18) are down from his freshman year, but that’s not entirely accurate. Wisconsin just wasn’t good this year, despite being loaded with first round talent. Sometimes that happens, and his season ending early could be a jolt in the arm for the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Like with Khodorenko, Miller would be signing starting next season, not this season. He would go to Hartford on an ATO for the remainder of this season. That would certainly help Hartford, since they’ve been struggling for a while.
