The NY Rangers face off against the defending Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues tonight in what is a critical matchup for the Rangers. The Flyers crushed the Blueshirts on Friday and on Sunday, and left the previously flying high Rangers scrambling. Now with just 17 games remaining, the Blueshirts can only afford to lose in regulation five times before their playoff hopes dwindle into nothingness.

It’s a tough climb too, as St. Louis represents one of 14 playoff hunt opponents the Rangers face between now and the end of the season.
