The NY Rangers have made another surprise trade, this time acquiring goaltender J.F. Berube from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for “future considerations.” This is likely just an AHL move, since the club does need a goalie with the Rangers carrying three. Still a surprising move.
Berube has a .905 SV% with Lehigh Valley this season. He also has 34 games of NHL experience.
