rangers columbus blue jackets brady skjei

The Rangers have a quick turnaround tonight, following up their 3-2 comeback win in Minnesota with a game against the depleted Columbus Blue Jackets. The entire Blue Jackets roster is hurt, apparently. That doesn’t seem to matter though. John Tortorella has them playing relatively well (6-1-3 in their last ten) and are a very dull team. The Rangers struggle with low-event teams, so this might be one of those frustrating ones.

As for the Blueshirts, they recalled Joey Keane. The RD is likely to skate for the banged up Tony DeAngelo. This is his first NHL game in his first pro season. He certainly earned the call up, and is rocketing up the prospect depth charts. He’s someone to watch tonight.
