The Rangers have recalled forward Phil Di Giuseppe from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Di Giuseppe has been a bright spot in Hartford, with a line of 11-11-22 in 39 games, and is third on the team in scoring.
To make room, the Rangers have assigned Steven Fogarty to Hartford. Recalled a few weeks ago, Fogarty played in 6 games with the Rangers, staying off the score sheet.
The move is likely to give the Rangers more of an offensive punch, as Fogarty has limited offensive upside. Given the scoring woes outside of a few players, this makes sense.
