NY Rangers Game 23 Open Thread: T’was the night before Thanksgiving

The Rangers host Carolina on Thanksgiving Eve

The Rangers have won two in a row. One more, and it’s a winning streak. It has happened before. But to get there, those jerks from Carolina stand in the way. The Canes are likely headed to the playoffs again, sitting pretty in third place in the Metro. This team has good process and solid skill. Their goaltending is terrible though, so that’s where the top-end skill of the Rangers can gain some ground.

Mika Zibanejad is back after missing a month, and that top-six looks much better when he’s in the lineup. The lines are a little unclear, and all we know is that David Quinn said the four centers will be Zibanejad, Strome, Chytil, and Howden, not necessarily in that order. Cue the hate train.
