NY Rangers Fan Confidence Poll: November 25, 2019

Checking in on the NY Rangers' performance from the past week

Record Last Week (Sunday to Sunday): 2-1-0 (11 GF, 10 GA)
Season Record: 10-9-2 (71 GF, 75 GA)
Schedule This Week: vs. MIN, vs. CAR, @ BOS, @ NJ

Top stories from last week, which was relatively uneventful:

  • The Rangers beat the Caps before laying an egg in Ottawa. Then they staged the comeback of the year in Montreal.
  • Lias Andersson has scored twice in three games since he was sent to the Hartford Wolf Pack, but the Pack have lost all three games. They are now 11-4-0-5 and in first place in their division.
  • Injury Updates: Mika Zibanejad did not play at all this week, still with an upper body injury. He has skated in a non-contact uniform, but this smells like a concussion. Staal will be re-evaluated in next week. Yegor Rykov remains on season opening IR with the Rangers.

Please take a second to answer the poll below and give us an idea of how confident you are in the Rangers, their direction, coaching, management, prospects, and overall quality on the ice. You can click the tag “Fan Confidence Poll” to view historical polls.

  1. Run this poll after Staal gets healthy.

The writing is on the wall for Staal to replace Hajek.

      1. I’ll take the over; I think he’ll get 8-10 a night. Look he’s not Guy Lafleur but he gives the team a little needed grit and checking through the neutral zone. And by the way, all in all a successful week, four points from three games, two on the road. Not ideal, but progress; they responded well (after falling behind 4-0, LOL) to Quinn’s tongue-lashing. It’s a young team; these types of things are going to happen. Patience, everyone. It would be nice if they could take advantage of a bad Minnesota team tonight.

        Regards- orange

  2. The only “full confidence” I have is that within the next minute, Rainman will give me his usual support, bet on it!!!!!!
