The Rangers travel to Nashville this afternoon to take on the again Cup contending Nashville Predators. The Preds are deep and have high end skill, but haven’t yet found a way to turn that into a Cup. Yet they compete every year and somehow remain in a great cap position. They have made mistakes, but this is a very well run team.
The Rangers are without Mika Zibanejad again, so the lineup will remain the same. Marc Staal remains a healthy scratch. He’s not overly please about it, based on interviews, but what else can you expect? I wouldn’t be happy either. Considering how the Rangers played against Tampa, this lineup was worth repeating to see if they have something.
