The Rangers are back at it tonight in DC, fresh off their loss to the Devils. I know you may think this game thread is premature, but believe it or not the Rangers are allowed to play twice in the same week. I know, I’m just as surprised as you are. As for their opponent, the Caps have actually played a few games, twice as many as the Rangers.
The standings are still a jumbled mess, but the Caps are expected to be in the thick of things once March rolls around. The Rangers…not so much. The Caps might not have the immediate results yet, but their metrics look solid, and with that talent the goals will start coming.
