The Rangers close out their preseason tonight in Bridgeport, the Islanders third home arena that doesn’t want them. While Isles fans are out in force buying dirt, the Rangers have actual roster decisions to make. Tonight’s lineup is comprised almost entirely of players fighting for a roster spot. It is entirely possible that tonight’s game will be the decision point for a few.
Tonight is a big night for the likes of Howden, Nieves, McKegg, Andersson, and Chytil up front. After all, it is entirely possible that only three of those guys break camp. As for the blue line, Reunanen, Hajek, Lindgren, and Morrow are all fighting for a spot.

Crazy Prediction: Some arena at some point actually wants to have the Islanders.
