The last of the Russians has signed, as defenseman Yegor Rykov has inked a two-year ELC with the Rangers. Rykov, acquired from the Devils in the Michael Grabner trade. Rykov had modest offensive numbers this year in the KHL, putting up 3-6-9 in 43 games with Sochi, but the 22 year old defenseman made significant strides and is likely to have an NHL impact sooner rather than later.

With Rykov in the mix, the Rangers have completed their goal of signing the Russian Three to ELCs. Earlier this month both Igor Shestyorkin and Vitali Kravtsov inked ELCs.

Rykov’s deal does have a European-out clause. He’s not guaranteed a spot in the NHL with it, but it’s worth noting.
